Tertiary game mode, often played with semi-role play aspects. Not suitable for truly competitive gameplay.
- Match Time: 10 minutes. Sudden Death if rescuer is in possession of Hostage at time end.
- Restrictions: No Frags, No LMGs. No NVGs for OPFOR. Smokes only equipment for OPFOR.
- Regulations: At the beginning of each round the Defending team will have approximately 1 minute to place their hostage in it's location. When both teams say ready, an admin will call "LIVE LIVE LIVE" to begin the game. Until live is called, the attacking team must stay in the spawn area and cannot attempt to observe the placement of the hostage. Additionally, the defending team must have a handler attached to the hostage at all times, and maintain reasonable proximity to guard it.
- Uniforms: Typically teams are themed as BLUFOR vs OPFOR. The rescue team is generally coordinated into earth tone colors (Olive, Tan, Woodland, Multicam, etc.) and wears combat helmets with night vision capability. The defending team is either wearing all black, or a mixture of solid color clothing such as blue jeans and a t-shirt. No headgear besides Balaclavas only.
- Win Conditions: Eliminate enemy team, defend until time end, or rescue/cause enemy to kill hostage. Note that intentionally wounding the hostage on defensive will cause you to gain credit for it's death.
- Preferred Maps: Small Town, Tanker Ship, Power Station.
